The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and cares for patient requiring critical-care intervention for acute or potentially life-threatening ailments as well as outpatient procedures and surgical recoveries.

The unit consists of six beds around a central monitoring station. This arrangement allows for patient visualization at all times. Critical-care monitoring includes hemodynamic, cardiac, pulse oximetry and ventilation support.
The Intensive Care Unit of Community Hospital strives to provide quality care to the critically ill patient. We also provide care for families, with condition updates and compassion for their difficult situation.

We do this because we care for the whole patient and their families physically, mentally and spiritually. We strive to provide the highest quality care humanly possible through ongoing education and training.
