Hiring Process
The Community Hospital hiring process begins with a completed application. We need an application before we can consider you for a position, although you may additionally submit a résumé.
There are several ways to access and fill out an application:
*While we welcome you to send your résumé with your application, please note that it is not a substitute for the application. You must completely fill out an application to be considered for a position.*

  1. Print and mail your application to:
    Community Hospital
    Attn: Human Resources
    2021 North 12th Street
    Grand Junction, CO 81501
  2. Print and fax your application to (970) 255-2127.
    Download a printable application.
  3. Submit an application online to Human Resources.

To use this interactive application, you must have Adobe Reader 8.

You must also have an email application such as Outlook on your computer that manages your email or you may not be able to email the interactive application to us. You may complete the interactive application, print it and fax or mail it to us.

Please note: When using this interactive employment application, you are entering your information into a form on your computer only -- nothing is going out over the internet as this form is filled out. Clicking on the Email button simply sends this file to our HR department as an attachment, nothing is sent over the internet through the web browser.

However, if you are uncomfortable with sending information such as your social security number, driver’s license number, etc., please leave these portions blank on the interactive application and we will get that information from you either via telephone or when you come in for an interview.
You may be contacted for an interview by either a representative of Human Resources or by the department director for the area in which you’re applying.

Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Nursing personnel must have a current Colorado license and be BCLS & ACLS certified.

PALS/TNCC certification is required in some areas.

All of our new employees attend New Ventures Orientation for two days at the hospital prior to starting work.

For more information, email Human Resources or call (970) 255-2123.
