Community Hospital Foundation Virtual Gala
September 12, 2020

Thank you for your unwavering support of
Community Hospital!

Grand Valley Oncology has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years. The need for an additional medical office building to house a state-of-the-art cancer center is paramount to help foster the continued growth and success of our growing health care organization.

We invite you to join us in our commitment to keep Community Hospital a vital health care choice for our neighbors in the Grand Valley. Through your generosity, Community Hospital’s Foundation will continue to support our current day miracle makers, who provide the best possible healing environment for you and your loved ones.

Community Hospital has always had your health and well-being in mind. We are known for focusing on the softer side of medicine; a high nurse to patient ratio, compassionate care, and quality service. Your generous financial support helps maintain Community Hospital as a quality health care choice for the Grand Valley.

Our $5 million capital campaign fundraising goal will help support the new construction project for a medical office building and cancer center on our main hospital campus at 2351 G Road. We have already raised nearly $200,000 from the 2020 Virtual Gala! With the generous support of individuals and businesses in our community, we know we can make the dream of having a state-of-the-art regional cancer center in the Grand Valley a reality!

In 2020, we achieved the designation of Patient Centered Medical Home. This incredible achievement underscores a steadfast commitment to our community to provide the highest quality cancer care possible. Grand Valley Oncology is the only cancer center in Colorado to achieve this high honor and is one of only 30 in the entire nation to be designated as a Patient Centered Medical Home.

In 2019, Community Hospital’s Grand Valley Oncology achieved the high honor of being a Commission on Cancer accredited program.
