Dr. Zogala first developed an interest for Rheumatology in his undergraduate years. During his residency this interest developed into a passion and led him to Baylor where he acquired expertise in autoimmune and rheumatic diseases. While at M.D. Anderson Dr. Zogala coauthored a number of publications and learned to effectively manage patients’ autoimmune diseases in the setting of current or previous malignancy.
“It was initially the challenge of piecing together disparate, and sometimes seemingly disconnected and puzzling bits of information to come up with a solution, that led me to rheumatology, but my patients are the reason I love my chosen field,” said Dr. Zogala.
