Infectious disease is a subspecialty of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, control and treatment of infectious diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. In clinical practice, there are many different roles for infectious disease physicians, with many of them assisting general internists or other specialties in the management of difficult, unusual or complicated infections.

Yumi Lee, MD
Yumi Lee, MD specializes in the practice of Infectious Disease. She graduated from medical school at the University of Manchester in 2013. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at MetroHealth Hospital/ Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 2016 and her Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Colorado in Aurora, CO in 2018. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
