Robotic-Assisted da Vinci® Surgery at Community Hospital
Community Hospital offers robotic surgery through Intuitive's da Vinci 5 surgical system, which offers cutting edge technology and unmatched surgical precision. The da Vinci 5 Surgical System was designed with the goal of further advancing the technology used in minimally invasive surgery. Robotic-assisted surgery is a form of minimally invasive surgery, performed through a few small incisions. During robotic-assisted surgery, your surgeon controls the da Vinci surgical system through a special console in the room. Robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgery, can lead to less pain and less time in the hospital.
Community Hospital is the only hospital on the Western Slope to utilize the da Vinci 5 robot, Intuitive’s most advanced and integrated platform.
