The team at Community Hospital’s Western Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has been extensively trained and specializes in orthopedic conditions and treatments. Utilizing the latest in both operative and non-operative techniques, the ultimate goal of our physicians is to ensure that patients receive outstanding orthopedic care for their musculoskeletal condition, from general orthopedics to sports medicine, and experience restored or improved quality of life.
Our team is your choice for total hip and knee joint replacement, hand and wrist conditions and reconstruction, total shoulder joint replacement, foot and ankle conditions and reconstruction, non-surgical sports medicine injuries and more. We specialize in non-invasive procedures, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid injections. Our physicians are highly respected in this discipline and are the team physicians for Colorado Mesa University Athletics, the Grand Junction Jackalopes, Central High School, Grand Junction High School, Palisade High School, Fruita Monument High School and are actively involved in additional outreach programs in our community.

We strive to offer the best possible care and convenience for our patients. Radiologic imaging such as Digital X-ray and MRI are available on-site.
Our 1.5 Tesla MRI provides high quality and cost-effective imaging. Our radiology team strives to have reports ready as soon as possible after a study is done. With new technology and systems, we make this service more efficient and convenient for our patients.
